Today... not the net only. They don't seem to make a secret of a fact they can have all the phone rings listed, and the plastic cards being controlled, and etc.

Don't like they want to keep an eye on users not only in lj- but all the time? Or... the interest FANFICTION being censored for Dumbledore is gay?

It's natural that the interests of the system are not our interests, but... it's funny it has to let us use it as we like- if we can.
